New Region/Pennant

Bendigo Campaspe Goldfields Region
The Annual General Meeting of the Region will be held Sunday 11th July 1pm at the Bendigo Bowls Club.
A special meeting will be held prior to this meeting at 11am to adopt the new Bendigo Campaspe Goldfields
Region Constitution. (copy attached). A light lunch will be supplied.
Nomination forms for Board Positions have been sent to Club.
The new Board will consist of 9 Directors, 3 from each playing area (Bendigo Playing Area, Campaspe
Playing Area and Goldfields Playing Area). The President and Secretary are voted on by all Clubs of the
Region and Directors voted on by their playing area Clubs. All positions are for terms of 2 years with
elections on even and odd years. Nominations close on 20th June with Region Secretary.

Committee Expressions of Interest forms have also been sent to Clubs and required by 9th July.
These committees will be appointed by the new Board.
Committees- Pennant/Competitions, Selection, Junior, Coaching, Greens, Umpiring and Sponsorship/
Marketing/ Media.

Bendigo Bowls Division
The Bendigo Bowls Division AGM will be held Wednesday 23rd June 7pm at North Bendigo.
The current Bendigo Bowls Division will be dissolved at this meeting.

Pennant 2021/22
There have been a number of queries in regard to Pennant next season with
Clubs deciding on the number of teams to be entered.

The Board have discussed this matter and will recommend to the New Region Board
that both Midweek and Weekend Pennant will stay the same as last season. This decision
has been made due to the continuance of COVID and the uncertainty of further restrictions.

Midweek- Played Monday (but this day may change in the season 2022/23), 21 ends,
15 minute break to be taken after 12 ends if both Side Managers agree. Start time 9.30am.

Weekend- 21 ends, commence at 1.30pm, 15 minute break at 3.00pm (no afternoon tea)
